We had an early start and set off for Marrakech. We stopped along the way for some great views of the gorge and ‘Mollywood’ – Morocco’s Hollywood where Gladiator, Star Wars, Cleopatra etc were filmed. We drove past the biggest Kasbah in Morocco and through the High Atlas Mountains which were covered in snow – amazing scenery! We did some last minute shopping in some Berber markets where we stopped for lunch before driving on through more amazing scenery to Marrakech where we were dropped at the airport and farewelled the rest of the group. Our flight back to the UK all went smoothly and we collected the car from the airport parking and drove back to Highfield by around 1:30am ready for Grampa’s 90th Birthday. Sad to see the end of Morocco – amazing trip!
