We got up early and drove 8 hours from Ambleside to The Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland. It was a long drive with amazing scenery through the Scottish Highlands past lots of lochs and Scottish Highlanders! When we arrived in Portree we left our bags at the Backpackers and set off for a quick walk around the Quith Raing - amazing scenery even with a few showers. One of the great things about being so far North - it didn't get dark til about 11pm!
