We went through time zones so I don’t really know what time
we woke up. We got off for some air at one of the bigger stops, another clear
blue sunny day (but freezing of course). Took lots of pics out the window of
more amazing snowy scenery and admired another beautiful sunset. We had another
nice relaxing day hanging out in the cabin and playing cards, drinking vodka
and eating noodles! We watched a few movies including an Idiot Abroad in Russia
(on the Trans Siberian Railway) which was pretty entertaining. During the day
we stopped at Tjumen (the 1st Russian settlement in Siberia founded
in 1584), Taluterovsk, Savodoukov, Novaya Saimka, Vagai, Omutinskaya,
Golyshmanovo, Karasulskaya, Ishim, Masljanshaja, Mangut Nasyvaevshaya,
Lyublinskaya, Omsk Pass, Tatarshaya, Barabinsk, Chulymskaya, Novosibivsk (the
biggest city in Siberia and its business centre, 3rd biggest city in
Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg), Bolotnaya, Yurga, and Yashkino. There
were only a few stops that you could actually get off the train at for a
stretch, the rest were just brief stops to collect people and let others off.
