We got up and on the road early and made our first stop at the Rock of Cashel where we wandered around the Castle and then down to the remains of Hore Abbey! From there we drove on to Cahir where we wandered through the castle and up to the top for views out over the town before stocking up on more goodies at the supermarket and driving on to Blarney. Feeling a little 'castled out' we decided to drive on through more amazing scenery, around Cork and down to the coast of Kinsale. We drove down as far as Old Head and camped on the peninsula over night (in foggy, windy, rain).
