22.03.2011 Hoi An, Vietnam

Nick and I got up early and went to the Red Bridge cooking school from 8-2:30 where we made 4 Vietnamese dishes - it was brilliant. The school started by going to the village farm to show us how all the vegies are grown, then to the fresh produce market to purchase the ingredients we required, then to the kitchen! The cooking school was situated beside the river in a beautiful garden setting. We made and ate some amazing food which I am looking forward to trying out at home! We then took a boat down the river back to Hoi An. After being re-fitted for our tailor made clothes we took the hotel bikes down to the 2nd of the 2 main beaches around Hoi An for sunset.

We were taught what each vegie / herb was and what they are used for, there were some great smells!
