29.3.2011 Luang Prabang, Laos

I arrived in Luang Prabang, Laos mid morning and it was raining and quite cool. There were two others Brendan and Andy from the USA being collected to stay at the same hotel as me so I spent the afternoon exploring Luang Prabang with them. Despite the rain we managed to see a fair bit and it was still a beautiful place!

Buddah statues everywhere

Some monks in their amazing orange outfits, certainly brightens up a gloomy day!

Another temple, lost track of which was which, there are over 30 in Luang Prabang

The Nam Kahn river which out hotel looked out to

Another amazing temple

The glass work patterns on the outside of the temples - really bright pretty decorations, all tell a story
