27.3.2011 Sapa, North Vietnam

On the 26th after Nick left I caught the night train to Sapa in North Vietnam, it was a long sleepless trip but at least I had a cabin with a lovely family from Lorne Victoria! On arrival in Sapa I checked into the hotel then went off on a walk down into the valley to the Muong Hoa River where we visited the Black Hmong village in Lao Chai. We were able to see how they live and meet some of the people which was brilliant. It was cold, and drizzling but still pretty magical!

The Hmong people who joined us on our walk - saved me from slipping in the mud numerous times!
