We got off the boat and dumped our bags back in the car and caught the city sightseeing tour bus into and around Stockholm. We saw the Royal Palace, walked around the Old Town 'Gramla Stan' which was amazing (lots of narrow cobbled lanes and beautiful old buildings) and went up the Strussen for views out over the city. We then caught the bus back through Djurgarden and back to the car park where we had left the car by the boat. We had actually had to walk about 30 minutes to the bus stop in the morning to get the bus but we had the nicest driver ever on the way back who took the whole bus tour on a detour to our car park to drop us off then had to do a million point turn to take the bus back on route!! AMAZING! From there we drove to Ikea (on route to the airport) as we felt our Swedish experience would not be complete without a trip to Ikea! We loaded up on cheap Ikea food and a few little random goodies before making our way towards the airport. We pulled up in a car park right next to the air strip for the night, re-packed our bags and gave the car a clean then got some sleep before a very early start (at least we didn't have to drive far!!).
