I babysat for the neighbours early in the week then Roger arrived on Wednesday so it was great to catch up with him. I had a busy week at work and lots of late nights so was hanging out for sleep on the weekend. Our new neighbour moved into the flat upstairs and he seems like a good bloke so everyone is pleased. On Saturday Roger and I went into Reading and did some jobs - I paid off my Trans Siberian Railway trip and Delhi to Kathmandu trip at the travel agent and Roger bought a few things that he hangs out for in the UK because he can't get them in the USA. We did a bit of Christmas shopping and the supermarketing before heading home to try a new vino - very tasty! We all played some uno and for once Grampa won at the wrong end! I booked my flights home for the 11th March 2012, got a good deal with Etihad and Virgin so pretty happy and excited about that! Rog joined me on my run on Sunday and it was a beautiful sunny day so I took some more pics and helped Nan plant the daffodil bulbs I gave her for her Birthday. We had an amazing seafood spread for lunch/dinner on Sunday thanks to Roger and M&S.
