24/10/2011 - 30/10/2011 UK

I had a busy week at work but managed to get a few runs in after work during the week through the pretty autumn leaves with loads of squirrels around gathering acorns off the side of the road and around the woods on my circuit. Also saw lots of pheasants roaming around the woods on my runs (being fattened up for the shooting season)... Towards the end of the week I was running in the dark especially by Sunday when we changed the clocks for daylight savings! On Sunday Thea, Nan, Grampa and I all went to Kei's Chinese restaurant in Lower Earley for Nan's Birthday on Wednesday which was VERY tasty! Grampa ate the decorative flowers and all! I got some more travel plans underway during the week after work and we did some shopping on the weekend for Nan's Birthday (at her favourite shop - Dobbies garden centre!). I also took Grampa to the post office to find Nan a suitably rude card for her Birthday and he stocked up on cigarettes, booze and chocolates...
One of the things I love the most about the UK is its definate seasons! Autumn has so much colour with all the different leaves changing and falling (unlike gumtrees!).
