12/9/2011 Dublin, Ireland to Nykoping, Sweden

After a couple of hours sleep we made it to the airport, dropped off one hire care in Dublin and picked up another in Nykoping on our arrival in Sweden. We got a Renault Lagooner station wagon and it was AWESOME! (it had seat warmers and all...). The best part about it was the sat nav, made driving on the wrong side of the road soo much easier! We started to make our way South East and basically drove as far as we could, stopping at a little supermarket for some Swedish delights along the way... We drove through some amazing scenery, past lots of 'moose' signs on the side of the road and found a place to pull up somewhere around Kalmar on the side of a pretty lake for the night. It was so nice not to have to put the tent up!

sooo tired....

Our map/sat nav set up for driving (thanks to The Tasmanian Map Centre....)

Driving past one of the many tarns/lakes throughout Sweden - so pretty!

mmmm swedish food

Some of the best cider ever despite its low alcohol content!

Bacon in a tube!

More bacon in a tube

All sorts of things in a tube!

Deep fried battered Camembert - doesn't get much better than this!

We initially thought these were big rounds of cheese then realised it was crackers... dissapointing!
