We had a VERY early start, got all packed and started the trip back to the UK. We drove past endless pretty green paddocks, farewelled Amsterdam - another of my favourite places and crossed the border into Belgium where the pretty scenery continued. We made it to the boat back in Calais in France in time for our crossing back to Dover where we were greeted by fog. We drove on into London and made perfect time back into the contiki meeting point at the Regency hotel where we all said our farewells – quite a sad time! I made my way back to Mortimer on the tubes and trains with all my gear and Kim collected me from the train station – great end to the trip of a life time!
