Another spectacular drive through amazing country side from Vienna to Prague in the heat. We drove through the Sound of Music countryside and listened to the sound track on the bus as we went along,… We stopped at Cesky Krumlov on the Valtava river where we climbed up the castle for fantastic views and saw brown bears in an enclosure at the foot of the castle. We wandered around the town which was really pretty before heading on through Bohemia to Prague. After another stinking hot day we felt a drop of rain or two towards the end of dinner and then in the middle of the night woke up to a MASSIVE thunderstorm, the thunder was so loud and powerful it was shaking the ground and the lightening so bright we didn’t exactly feel safes it tents with metal pole frames all around us! The rain was really heavy and we woke up with big pools of water around the tent but thankfully nothing got too wet.
