We had an early breaky and set off to the Edinburgh castle which we had a quick look around before wandering down the Golden mile – admired all the different Scottish tartans then hit the road. We drove back through Newcastle and the Scottish / English boarder point then on to York which we did a mad dash around. We arrived back in Mortimer around 10pm after driving 1600 miles from start to finish – great trip!
