We had a free day to do whatever we wanted to in Corfu so in the morning a few of us caught the local bus into the town and visited the Venetian Fortress in the Old Town in between doing some shopping and getting lost in the winding streets. We went back to the campsite around 2pm as this is when the Greeks have their siesta! We made our way to the beach for the afternoon to cool off (it was about 40 degrees) and had fun jumping off the jetty into the warm water this was followed by another amazing dinner from our on road chef and a few drinks on the beach watching the sunset. Sad to leave this place!!
